OpenGlyph is privacy-first by design. You don’t need an account to browse or copy from OpenGlyph.org, and we collect as little as possible. This summary explains what that means in plain language.
Our approach
We’re a non-profit library, not an ad business. The less we know about you, the better — so we keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the site safely.
What we may collect
- Anonymous, aggregate analytics — to see which libraries are useful, without identifying you.
- Essential cookies — only those needed for the site to function.
- Server logs — standard request logs kept briefly for security and abuse prevention.

What we never do
- Sell or rent your personal data — ever.
- Track you across other websites for advertising.
- Require an account, name or email just to browse and copy.
Cookies & analytics
If analytics are enabled, they’re configured to be privacy-respecting (no cross-site ad tracking). Any cookies we set are essential or anonymous. You can block cookies in your browser and still use the library.

Contributions
If you choose to contribute or contact us, you share what you send us (for example your handle and submission) so we can review, credit and publish it per how to contribute. We use that information only for that purpose.
Your choices & contact
You can use OpenGlyph without giving personal information. To ask what we hold or request a change, contact us via the contact page. See also our terms of use.
